Hi, my name is Paul Starmer, the man behind the polisher at AutoMOTO Detail.
Having spent most of my working life within the automotive industry, I've always been involved with cars, motorbikes and mountain bikes. I've spent a lifetime cleaning my two or four wheeled transports and always taken great pride in their appearance. Each time I've sold one on, the new owner has been amazed at how good the condition of it has been. Not content with pampering my own vehicles, I've even been known to take friends vehicles from them and clean them just because they were so dirty!
After some time I realised that I really enjoyed seeing the before and after effects of my efforts, and after a friend suggested I should consider offering my services to others, I began to give the idea some serious consideration. Having identified a gap in the market and demand for people wanting their vehicles cleaned or valeted, but without the hassle of taking them somewhere for the day, leaving them there to be collected at an unspecified time, or having to get a friend to take them there and back, I took the plunge, and in 2018 created my new business, AutoMOTO Detail, offering a mobile service for car washing, cleaning, and paintwork enhancement through machine polishing of paintwork, paint fault correction ( scratch and swirl removal), and protective coatings, plus interior valet, engine bay cleaning, fabric roof waterproofing, and headlight restoration.
Now well established in the Dordogne (24) and Charente (16) regions and with an extensive and ever growing list of happy, satisfied customers, recommendations and repeat bookings, why not join them and have the shine restored to your vehicles paintwork or interior?
Working within a 50km/one hour radius of Rossignol 24320. As long as you have water and electricity supplies we can work at your home. Additional charges applicable for distances outside this radius.
Work ethic and aims
Since its creation, AutoMOTO Detail has rapidly gained a reputation for quality and service. We don't charge by the hour, or leave until the job is done to the best possible standard. We don't offer a quick wash and wax service. Our offers are comprehensive and thorough treatments of your vehicle. This is the reason that even the smallest jobs take a minimum of between 3-7 hours, and some up to 10! We quote a price and stick to it regardless of time taken, although if a devis is given for a vehicle sight unseen, we reserve the right to revise the price if the vehicle is extremely dirty and not as described, ie. an estate not a saloon, or used extensively to transport pets and full of dog hairs!
Guarantee
I don't finish a vehicle until I'm happy with it, and I'm guessing my expectations of my own work are probably much higher than my customers, as I know what can be delivered and customers "just" get a nice surprise. I know you'll be satisfied and that's my raison d'etre for doing this job, and doing it well, customer satisfaction.
